How EAB uses latex<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What does all of this have to do with EAB? Well, our company specializes in producing latex foams for the footwear industry<\/strong>. We manufacture foams that are lightweight, flexible, and durable, ensuring maximum comfort and performance for end users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, our use of latex extends beyond the footwear industry. At EAB, we also produce other items for the home, decoration, and well-being, which contain latex foam along with secondary raw materials<\/strong> such as cork powder, shredded tire rubber, rice husks, and coffee grounds. These include rugs for the living room and bedroom, coasters, mats for laptops and mice, as well as exercise mats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n EAB is part of a group of footwear industry companies that signed the Portuguese Shoes Green Pact<\/em>, a program aimed at improving the environmental impact of companies in this industry. Prior to joining this initiative, we had already implemented the installation of photovoltaic panels and the integration of secondary raw materials sourced from other industries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We will continue on this path to minimize our impact on the environment, and the sustainable use of latex is one of the strategies that will help us achieve this goal. Porque n\u00e3o?<\/p>\n\n\n\n A raz\u00e3o \u00e9 simples: o l\u00e1tex \u00e9 a mat\u00e9ria-prima utilizada na produ\u00e7\u00e3o da borracha. E, por isso, s\u00e3o duas coisas diferentes. Mas, para simplificar, podemos dizer que o l\u00e1tex \u00e9 um tipo de borracha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n O l\u00e1tex pode ser obtido de forma natural ou sint\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n O l\u00e1tex natural<\/strong> \u00e9 uma resina, ou l\u00edquido esbranqui\u00e7ado, obtida a partir de cortes feitos na casca de uma \u00e1rvore, normalmente da \u00e1rvore chamada seringueira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n O l\u00e1tex sint\u00e9tico<\/strong> \u00e9 produzido a partir de derivados de petr\u00f3leo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Esta mat\u00e9ria-prima \u00e9 utilizada no fabrico dos mais variados produtos, tais como pneus, luvas cir\u00fargicas, preservativos, bal\u00f5es, entre muitos outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aqui, na EAB, utilizamos o l\u00e1tex para produzir espuma de l\u00e1tex para a ind\u00fastria do cal\u00e7ado<\/strong>.
